I don't know, I was reading TIME at the gym yesterday and someone wrote in to express the opinion that the only people to blame for the devastation in NOLA is the people who lived there. Because, like, if they are stupid enough to live below sea level, they deserved what they got. The levels of ignorance astounded me.
Last week Anderson Cooper was on Oprah, and he was talking about how Amtrack had an empty train leaving the city 2 days before the hurricane hit, and how the Amtrack people called the New Orleans mayor to see if he wanted to use it to evacuate and he told them no, he had it under control, so an empty train with like 200 seats left the day before the hurricane. That guy is THE WORST mayor ever.
